Return & Replacement Policy
InteriorChowk is a marketplace platform where products are listed and sold by different sellers. Return and replacement eligibility may vary from product to product based on the seller’s policy, product type, and product condition.
Each product page clearly mentions whether the product is returnable, replacement-only, or non-returnable before purchase. Customers are requested to check the return and replacement details on the product page before placing an order.
1. Returns
InteriorChowk offers a product-specific return policy for eligible products purchased through our website, mobile app, or marketplace platform.
If a product is eligible for return, the return window will be mentioned on the product page. Customers must raise a return request within the return period shown on the product page.
Returns may be accepted in the following cases:
- The product received is damaged.
- An item or accessory is missing.
- The product received is defective.
- The product received is different from the product description.
- The wrong product has been delivered.
For returnable products, the replacement window will be the same as the return window. For example, if a product has a 3-day return window, the customer will also have a 3-day replacement window for that product.
2. Replacement-only Products
Some products may not be eligible for return or refund, but the seller may offer replacement for a limited period.
If a product has 0 return days but has replacement days mentioned on the product page, the product will be treated as a replacement-only product.
For example, if a product has 0 return days and 3 replacement days, the product cannot be returned for a refund, but it may be replaced within 3 days if it is damaged, defective, wrong, or incomplete.
Replacement-only products are not eligible for refund unless approved by InteriorChowk after verification or required under applicable law.
3. Non-returnable and Non-replaceable Products
Some products may be non-returnable and non-replaceable due to their nature, customization, hygiene reasons, installation status, seller policy, or other product-specific conditions.
If a product is non-returnable or non-replaceable, the same will be clearly mentioned on the product page before purchase.
The following products are generally not eligible for return:
- Products that have been used, damaged, altered, washed, or installed by the customer.
- Products that are customized, made-to-order, or personalized.
- Products that are missing original packaging, invoice, tags, accessories, or included items.
- Products specifically marked as non-returnable on the product page.
In case a non-returnable product is received damaged, defective, wrong, or with missing parts, the customer may contact InteriorChowk support. Such cases will be reviewed by InteriorChowk and the seller, and resolution will be provided based on verification.
4. Conditions for Return or Replacement
To be eligible for return or replacement, the product must meet the following conditions:
- The request must be raised within the applicable return or replacement window mentioned on the product page.
- The product must be unused and undamaged by the customer.
- The product must be in its original condition and original packaging.
- All tags, labels, invoices, accessories, manuals, warranty cards, and free items must be returned with the product.
- Images or videos may be required for verification in case of damaged, defective, wrong, or missing products.
Return or replacement requests raised after the applicable window may not be accepted.
5. Return Shipping
For eligible return or replacement requests, InteriorChowk or the seller may arrange a return pickup or provide return shipping instructions.
Customers may be responsible for return shipping costs except in cases where the return or replacement is due to a damaged product, defective product, missing item, wrong product, or an error on our part.
6. Refunds
- Refunds are applicable only for products that are eligible for return and refund.
- Once the returned product is received, our team or the seller will inspect the item and notify the customer regarding the refund status.
- Refunds will be processed after the returned product passes quality verification.
- Refunds will be issued to the InteriorChowk wallet, irrespective of whether the customer paid through credit card, debit card, net banking, UPI, wallet, or any other payment mode.
- Refunds will usually be processed within 2–3 business days after receiving and verifying the returned item.
- Shipping charges, COD charges, convenience fees, installation charges, or service charges may be non-refundable unless specifically mentioned or required due to an error from our side.
7. Restocking Fees
A restocking fee of up to 15% may be applied to eligible returns. This fee covers the cost of processing the return, inspection, repackaging, and restocking the product.
Restocking fees may not apply in cases where the product received is damaged, defective, wrong, or incomplete due to an error from InteriorChowk or the seller.
8. Cancellations
Orders can be cancelled before they are shipped. Once an order has been shipped, cancellation may not be available, and the customer may need to follow the applicable return or replacement process after delivery.
For customized, made-to-order, or special-order products, cancellation may not be available once the order is confirmed or processing has started.
9. How to Raise a Return or Replacement Request
Customers must raise a return or replacement request within the applicable window mentioned on the product page.
To raise a request, customers can contact InteriorChowk support through the website, mobile app, email, or WhatsApp with the order details, product details, and supporting images/videos where required.
